mschultz - 1/23/2024 19:37 Power shift AND a factory cab in '64? That must have been a high-spec tractor. Do you remember which cab it was? Some of the Standards had cabs that look a lot different than the Hiniker you usually see on 4020s.


It wasn't a factory cab but an side entry Egging cab.  For some reason that is what our JD dealer at the time installed on every tractor they sold to farmers who wanted a cab at the time .  Our 5010 grandpa bought a year later also had an Egging cab.  Later on they did start selling factory cabs instead of aftermarket because I have seen a few around here.
