NC Ohio | Right or wrong I just pulled the trigger on a Massey 2606H after looking at a Case IH 60A (same as a NH Workmaster) and JD 5065E. The CNH & MF were similar in price and the JD was 35% more. I went with the MF based on a couple things, it's the heaviest at #5800, has a Perkins knock off that only turns at 1800rpms (CNH is 2500 rpms) and has 2 remotes standard. Granted I don't plan on doing a lot of loader work with mine, the heavier loader on the NH/CNH may hold up better. If your not worried about frame size as much I would defiantly look at the MF 4707
Also keep in mind JD, CNH, and MF are all offering 0% financing for 60 months on the smaller utility tractors. Whether you use it or not, if you figure in 5% interest on your money new will more then likely be a better deal than slightly used. I looked at a 1 year old 50 hour MF, if I added interest cost it was $2k cheaper to go new. | |
