| You are correct that the media and establishment politicians have egg on their face for taking the 'Russian Collusion' accusation way too far.
However, I think there's a difference in the two situations.
In 2016, President Trump was accused of receiving foreign aid in order to win an election. I don't recall a dispute in the voting itself.
In 2020, President Trump accused officials in his own country of collaborating against him in order to change the results of the election.
Neither situation had a positive outcome for our country, and the difference probably doesn't matter to most. | |
