I'm too small and old school to afford anything other than me or one of my sons up in the tractor loader bucket with a pole saw. I have a couple of the 12" DeWalt electric chainsaws to cut up the bigger limbs on the ground (if I have more than one of my 3 sons at time to help). It's a labor intensive job. I hit the worst spots each spring from what I remember during harvest the prior fall.
I'd give probably $1000 hr for one of these to come down my field edges. I wish the electric coop made that an option to members when they hire them to trim along power lines.
