Not a chance you could run a ground rig at 5gpa let alone 2-3gpa. Totally different animal from a plane, helicopter, or drone. Probably could get away with 8gpa.
Neighbor with his spray-coups and the 200 gallon tank sprayed 6 gallons to the acre all the time in the 90's/early 2000's. I'm sure he could of done 5 gpa if he wanted to.
With a nozzle change I bet we could spray 5 gpa with the JD 4930. I'm tempted to experiment with that this spring. 250 acre loads sounds productive.
