Actually, I can't find where it says do not apply after corn is over 48 inches tall, just gives max rate up to 48 inches. The label does say to allow a minimum of 50 days after application and before harvest, which contradicts another statement saying allow at least 7 days before harvest.
Majority of labels are poorly written often in disagreement with other parts of the label. Credit 5.4 label says 30-48 inches for drops. Only reason for height restriction for RUP on corn is potential ding to yield and removes liability from whose name is o the label
