Oregon | So much of this post just doesn't make sense. Why do you think 7-8k is "high hours"? I see 8r units with IVTs from feedlots pushing 20k hours without issue.
"...doesn't cost per hour a lot to keep these trading these newer tractors." So then just roll another one. When you roll multiple units, they don't check to see if one has cow **** on the tires. The guy in Fargo doesn't come look.
And if "you can't afford to let them depreciate", why are you thinking about buying one that is depreciated? And if you think buying a depreciated unit is a good idea, why are you rolling new units?
Kinda seems like you need to settle on a program rather than worrying about whether an 8r turns to dust when the meter hits 8k. | |
