Labor cost to operate a drone is much higher. A drone can probably hold proper canopy height better than a plane or a ground rig
Labor cost on drones was $4 acre this past year they were putting in about 100 hours week , when things were going full bore.
Edit looks like should have proof read before posting hit 4 by mistake labor cost per acre was $3.
