Do everything I can myself. Chop corn, put a clutch in a tractor, put in my own pipeline.

Take care of the cows and they'll take care of me.

Chopping hay is cheaper than wrapping it.


Goal for this year is to start breeding cows myself instead of having COBA do it



I’d like to see your math on chopping hay vrs wrapping it. To chop you need more equipment and typically more manpower. If you have uprights or bunkers that adds a lot of money invested in something you can’t resell. Only downfall to wrapping is disposing of all the cussed wrap. If you run a new enough wrapper they have a remote so you can run the wrapper and feed it yourself.
