| The 8rs we run we get new and run them 2 years. Trade 1 every other. Got into a mud deal with family. Those never go out of warranty.
My other work force I bought between 5 and 9k hours. I've put 1 Trans in, 1 complete engine OH, and 1 complete rebuild of ils. Of the 3 8020s I have I have 2 with ils. Those 2 run manure wagons and silage wagons. I love ils but I know my other one will be needing rebuilt and that is just not fun. Other than those major repairs KNOCK ON WOOD I really don't spend much on these tractors. They get routine maintenance, stay in a heated shed, ran almost daily, and really don't get the snot pulled out of them. I wonder if all those factors equal longer life. | |
