Subject: RE: High hour 8rs?

I run high houred 20, 30, and early r series. 8500-16,000hr stuff. I’ve got 15 tractors pretty evenly spread across those series and hours and we’ve done 1 motor and just finished 1 ivt. Saved a ton doing them ourselves and today with YouTube and internet lots of help out there. Seems like more than anything we get electrical nuisance stuff, sensors, harnesses, shorts etc. That can get expensive and lots of time Consumed. are they ils? Can get a bit of money into that if haven’t been maintained. Hours don’t scare me especially on the ivt tractors, lots have had hydro updates and lots of tractors never done any real hard work, especially here in row crops, hay, and vegetables. My guys really like the r series cabs.
In my eyes, just like buying feeders, all comes down to the buy. If you buy them right the rest works out along the way.
