Still in the hunt for a cheaper tractor for some feedlot/silage work. Been running 8rs since they came out but trade them every other year. Never been around a high hour 8r

Dealer has been in the hunt for some local 8020 series. Found a few in the 7-9k hour range. These tractors don't really scare me.

Dealer also has a few 8rs on the lot. 9-10k hour range. He's really trying to push me into these. Dropped the price for me significantly if I'd take 1 or 2. He's really trying to move stuff off the lot and I get that. I looked at them today when I was in getting parts. They are extremely clean for the hours. Didn't run them because it was cold but they are clean.

I could get into the 8rs for probably about 30ish k less than an 8020. I'm really caught up on issues that could be coming with these 8rs over an 8020 but 30k less purchase price would help some of that.

These tractors won't get used a bunch... maybe 3-400 hours a year

Anyone have experience with a higher hour 8r. Any insight or advice

9-10k is high hours on these tractors??
