2017 eclipse went over our area. I drove around to meet some people from further away. Met one fellow from Canada. We sat and visited awhile and I mentioned that I could speak the low German tongue. Just like that he started in speaking low German and him and I had a very nice conversation in low German. Surprising whom you meet.
