Any good books on the subject ? Always intrigued of how the delta was drained with the equipment and man power of that era. The Delta Empire is a good read about Lee Wilson and how he amassed several thousand acres of land and made into good farmland in Arkansas. Can you imagine if a project of that scope was tried today with all the regulations.
