Subject: RE: 3pt snowblowers

East Central Saskatchewan
I have a 8 foot John Deere 3pt hitch plow. I think it was made by Mc Kay. Its on a 970 Case. Reverse is too fast, so once I make a first pass working the clutch I take a smaller cut to match the depth of the snow. One thing that I like about this plow is that its made of 3/8ths plate, not tin. Because I don't have front wheel assist this plow puts a ton of weight on the rear wheels when you lift it, otherwise I would have to use tire chains.
