Subject: RE: 3pt snowblowers

east central ND
I have 1 spot that gets a 3’ drift. With the old blower I would slip ride the clutch on the fist pass through. Even stop to let the blower clear out. Then take 1/3 or 1/2 cut with the old 4430. 4” of fluffy snow was good in 1 reverse, but 4” of heavy snow was too much for a full cut.

I don’t know how the new blower with the bigger fan will work yet. But the 4430 is in the shop getting worked on, so I might have to try the JD 8200. I never ran the 8200 on the old blower, I figured too much power.
