Virginia, Northern Neck		The CD rates you are quoted sound good.

Also consider SGOV, it is an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) that invests in Treasury obligations of 90 days or less.

With CD the rate is fixed, with SGOV it varies.

Either way, you will do well.

Reason I like SGOV, it looks to me like the U.S. Treasury is running on the equivalent of payday loans, and short-term interest rates are rising.
