Subject: RE: IVT transmission in big John Deere tractors

Moreauville LA
I will be the dissenter here on owning an IVT

I had 3
8320R
8310R
7215R

Followed maintenance, no scraper work or manure tanker work. Simply row crop work. Operated like they were designed

The 8310R hydro failed at 3550 hrs, the 8320R hydro failed and 5800 hrs and the 7215R internally grenaded at 3820 hrs.

I like running them. I hate owning them. Honestly I feel they are not meant to be a southern row crop tractor where there is heat, constant stop, back, turn, back, take off again as opposed to an open ground slow down to turn farming style. Heat is their enemy.

Only way I would own another is under full warranty.

In addition, here come the "mine has 11,000 hrs and no trouble" comments
