Using the word “worried” was just faster. I could have said, “I became aware of the fact that reaching my destination was not a 100% probability given the speed I was traveling and the state of charge of my vehicle so I altered my plan” every time but that sure would have added a lot of words to an already lengthy post.

I was never worried to the point of being anxious. I always had backup plans and really was running with a lot of margin.

I’m just coming here telling the truth of my experiences with the full expectation of getting torn apart. I’m not trying to convince anyone that an EV is best for the way they want to travel. And if I had a job where I travelled a lot of miles daily, it would be truly ludicrous to try an accomplish it with an EV in todays world. I have no delusions that with current tech, EVs are better for all use case scenarios. Just sharing my experiences.
