Subject: RE: IVT transmission in big John Deere tractors

Panhandle of Ne.
We’ve put over 40k hours on tractors with the IVT pulling anything from a 10’ box blade smoothing up roads and around the shop up to 13 shank JD v-rippers with clod buster rolling drag behind it a foot deep, 45’ 980 FC with an Unverferth double rolling baskets, 8 bottom JD switch plow with drag and the list goes on and on. 310R to 8R370 and every model in between with no issues. If a person takes the time to learn how to use that transmission, they’ll never want our need anything else. Just like anything mechanical can and does break but sometimes it’s operator error.
