They work incredibly well. I have one at each one of my floats on a splitter. I have used them for years.
They'll last forever with a little maintenance. I take them off each year and soak them in CLR overnight in the refrigerator, which allows them to open up at cooler temperatures. It cleans all of the crud out of them and keeps them flowing.
Does Freeze Miser actually work?
