Illinois | Just replaced our 25-year-old Kemore Elite (made by Whirlpool) set because the washer tub cracked halfway up the tub. My friend has a son that works for an appliance dealer. His recommendation was Speed Queen top load or
the commercial top load Maytag washer dryer set. The commercial Maytag has a dual action agitator that gets dirty clothes clean. The Speed Queen TC5 has a single action agitator that works just as good. Both SQ & Maytag have old school control knobs. Speed Queen TC5 washer and the DC5 dryer have 5 year in home parts and labor warranty. Can't remember warranty on the Maytag but I think it had a pretty good warranty also. Went with Speed Queen, only dislike about the TC5 Speed Queen washer it is a little noisy but knew that beforehand. Wanted a dependable washer that cleans dirty clothes!!! | |
