Every land sale since the beginning of time everyone else but the winner thought it went for way too much. If it were a bad business decision you should be happy they're frittering away their "generational wealth" on land. If they're really "losing big sums of money to feed their ego" that doesn't work in the long run.
Not talking about land prices. Talking about cash rent. If you have the money to pay for high land prices than more power to you. On the other hand guys are still bidding rents like corn is seven dollars.
