35 Bu beans at $18 is $630 per acre. The time involved in cultivating beans is never ending summer long thing for a near break even.
it used to be farming was all about the hours invested to make a successful operation, now everyone seems to be allergic to actual labor and think they can run a farm from their smartphone continuously running their mouth into their bluetooth headset, I don't know how you guys rent any ground if it isn't worth your time to actually farm it. Maybe it is all Grandpas ground. |
