| Currently I have a samsung front load washer (10? Yrs old) and an LG dryer (older than that) both are going strong.
We went with GE on the house we are building right now, basically because the rebates from the kitchen appliances paid for the washer and dryer and because I am in a hole, the only appliance dealer that would service where I built is GE. Set up a 2nd washer spot in the garage to do work clothes, the samsung will get that duty.
I worked for LG repairing appliances 15 yrs ago and will say (at that time) big box store vs local stores the machines were the same. LG tv's from walmart (caught the start of that fiasco) were a different manufacturer with an LG logo on it. That was a cluster to fix and took weeks vs days to get parts. | |
