We have two sets. One set is for work clothes only. It was the cheapest pair of Amana's I could get from the local agco/ appliance dealer in the scratch and dent section. They're 10 years old now and still cruising along. The other set is the fanciest front load GE set I've ever seen. They also work well and are probably much gentler on good clothes if I was guessing. They both get the clothes clean.
