As long as they don’t look at the price, here e10 ethanol blend is a lot cheaper then straight gas.


The consumer decision for ethanol is kind of set in stone, maybe could up the consumption with e15 a little.


That "up a little" would be a 50% increase in ethanol demand. I'm not smart enough to know but that could break the market if it goes too far too fast.

Not that it's realistic for e15 to magically take off when there's no real infrastructure for it (that's another spot at the pump) but even seeing the new Casey's being built in our area with e15 is encouraging. I have asked random strangers about it in the past... "Hey, you see this unleaded 88 stuff? You ever use it?" I love the answers. Most will say "Yea, it's great! It's cheaper!" but they have the regular e10 87 octane nozzle in their tank.
