Do you really think the idiots running our two states would be able to fix the roads even without the studs? We have the highest fuel tax in the nation and still have crappy roads. Every time they have any money they rob the money for something else or blow way over budgets on road projects they have. Southern California I’d imagine doesn’t have many studs on their highways and those roads are horribly grooved. Maybe instead of simply banning things they could get fiscally responsible but then again that takes common sense.
Banning studs is fiscally responsible, that’s probably why they haven’t done it yet.
