Just got some sand tubes weigh about 70 lbs at the farm store.Stuck about 4 in the back off the pickup.24 bucks best money spent.Keep you from sliding on ice alot better.Put a couple in the back off any vehicle.Studs are great.Have some on my little Ranger pickup.That an weight in the back.Go anwhere.Just 2wd.Have another set with out After the season is over.
I used to throw a few 100# IH weights in the rear of a 2WD truck.
I agree with you in snow, the extra weight helped, but on ice I disagree, the weight just helps you go places you don't want to go. |
