Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

I'll bet they damaged that valve cover, pulling the engine = I see part of upper valve cover damaged area "pushed inward".


Make sure the engine's "timing spec" is the same for your engine verses this one, if you plan on using the fuel injection pump. 





IIRC, most 7FB engines were 24.0 degrees BTDC, but I think some were also 21.0 degrees BTDC (makes a difference on machined pin timing, on fuel injection pump camshaft)
