| Needed the spare off the 2010 Tahoe 2 winters ago, tried getting the tire off,could not get it to release, my 16 year old daughter says look in the owners manual, I go I think I can a Dxxx spare off without reading the stinkin' book, ended up cutting the cable with a vise grips, changed tire, read book a few days later and daughter was right LOL darn engineers have some sort of lock on to release must crank down and back up or something like that, who would ever have thought need to read to get a spare off, it rides around in the back now! | |
