West Central MN
wire farms - 1/4/2024 19:21

case heads are far from junk, Ive never had a gearbox apart on a CNH head and yet I hear and see so many reviews of certain years of deere heads to avoid due to gear box issues.

(NH yellow head here on my farm as case dropped their corn head line completely and used the NH style head because like usual case had to merge with someone to stay competitive and in biz, they'd still have a 2388 style machine as their big combine if it wasn't for the merge with NH and the grand island plant making flagships)

Deere does make a solid head yes but calling a case head junk is far from the truth.

Chopping or non chopping head?
