On our farm, we had no trouble pulling 40' of deep tillage shank with 220 horsepower. We has sandy loam.
I went to work in an area where the soils were heavier clay. There, 200 horsepower could only pull about 20-25 feet of cultivator.
So, asking that question will get a variety of answers that you won't find very useful.
How many hp per foot of field cultivator do you use?
