Yes, the bushings and pins on the main arm are in great shape. However, you bring up a great point that should be mentioned about the angle while running in the soil. After all, that is the sole means of creating the seed slot. Thanks for bringing that to the thread.

 I'm going to work on perhaps building a set of brackets like Jon Hagen has done. Dont know if I'll get that far this year, but that is a grand idea for reducing the stresses and strains on the boot mount and blade contact consistancy.
