Have you checked the slop in the front main pivot pin for each unit? Me thinks if the unit runs straighter than the 7 degrees due to wear this might allow mud to stick to the wrong side of the blade and collect as your pictures show. Even in very wet conditions ours will have the boot side of blade staying fairly clean UNLESS you turn with it in the ground. I don't know but I feel 1/2 inch movement is max at rear of unit arm, have heard of rotating the pins as the wear will all be on one side of diameter of pin when in working position.
Have you put the springs in yet? that was a bear for me due to relocating the holes in boots.
Remember the bevel goes towards the boot on new blades.
