Would you mind making 4 dozen of those and shipping them to me? :P
Excellent modification, Jon.

I really am in no condition (glaucoma)to build anything like that anymore, but you guys feel free to take the idea and run with it. Copy it or put your own spin on the idea to work out your own improved version of it. These have worked well for 12 years..
With those brackets, you will never lose or break a boot mounting bolt and lose the boot / seed tube assy. Out in the shop I have the dimensions of the parts that I could post on here. We made a couple of jigs to ease welding up many identical right and left hand brackets, I will not let go of them in case we ever need to make a few replacements. The jigs are pretty simple, just tack weld the first bracket (right and left)together until you are satisfied with it, then weld up a simple jig to fit your original and use it to position the parts of all the others for welding.
I can also post pictures of the jigs if that would be of any help.

That picture may be a little misleading, the 1/2 X 1-1/2 main beam is a bit out of position, the beam should touch the bottom of the opener arm and the dark round thing between the beam and opener arm is just a mudball.
