If the wide spread drought is what is holding these bred heifer prices down, then prices will rocket up as we get closer to grass.
It’s not a drought holding bred heifers down, it’s there isn’t enough young guys to calve them out. All the aging ranchers are just paying 3k for 3yos and skipping the heifer calving.
