West Central Illinois | What do you think fall calvers and early breds are going to do through the winter? Adding an additional pasture but I don't want more spring calving cows as I'd like to improve my cash flow and sell a set of calves late spring early summer instead of winter every year. Maybe have enough hay for everybody if I get them bought in January but wondering if I'd be just as well off to wait til March. Never have really paid much attention to fall calving cows before but I recall being at spring back to grass cow specials amd always thinking those 2nd period breds were a heck of a lot cheaper than heavy breds | |
