Hard to tell. Years ago a coolant company rep. told me the cheap ball type testers were so inaccurate they weren't worth using. You could get a gallon of 50-50 mix antifreeze and check your tester with that. I bought a Leica DC 70 Refractometer off a tool truck years ago and have used it ever since. Cost less than $100.00 then, now the closest thing I see new is a Reichert "Rhino" Duo-Check for several hundred dollars. Best thing I ever did for coolant was to put a 50-50 mix in everything and NEVER add anything but more 50-50 mix. Good to -34F without having to check (but I still check every year with the Refractometer just to be sure).

Edit to add: I didn't see the second picture-get a gallon of reputable 50-50 coolant for a comparison, something like FleetGuard from a truck shop, or CoolGardII from a Deere dealer.
