southern MN | I think it would be luck of the draw to actually see the shank.you likely have the resolution to make it possible to see it, if it is on top. But still you are visually scanning so much real estate to notice something 4 inches wide roughly the same color and possibly mostly buried….
It might be more possible to notice a different pattern in the field where the missing skank left a flat streak in the field? Would really narrow down the area to search. Any leveler or baskets might make that more difficult.
