The ground was clean with not many growing weeds. I usually check shanks a couple times a day but might have overlooked it since it is a 46 shank plow. I have a thermal scope and might try looking across fields at night as iron shows up well as white compared to the dirt after a sunny day when it is warmer than the ground.
