Northern Nebraska | They reorganized our plate number system a couple years back. So now every county has the county number followed by numbers on dealer plates and car plates. A car and a dealer could have the same numbers but the dealer plates says dealer on it. Commercial pickup plates have letters a-q after the dash followed by the number and farm trucks have r-w then numbers.
So in theory Madison county could have up to 26 vehicles on the road with the plate numbers 7-59 dealer, 7-59, 7-59 motorcycle, 7-A59, 7-R59. Plus 7-X59 trailer plate. | |
