North central North Dakota | jdironman - 12/25/2023 15:40 As another though, I was thinking of using the smooth bucket for tiling but make a spoon edge. We have done that with larger excavatot. Like the drill, what brand is it and where did you get your cutters? Thanks
The first cutter I bought a numbers of years ago was an Evolution brand. They are on the cheaper end but work just fine. If you do some searches on AgTalk you will see the preferred are the ones with an adjustable base, but they are more money like a Hougen brand. This one has worked fine. It does not have variable speed so this last year I bought a variable speed unit from Vevor. Now that is on the cheap end, paid about $180 for mine. Very cheap but has worked for some projects. I usually use the Vevor where tolerances do not have to be so tight.
I usually but carbide annual cutters. Sometimes on Amazon but will find on ebay or try to buy from another online source I like is https://www.mrmtool.com/
