You could add teeth to your bucket if you want also.  Used buckets are out there, dealers/rental places will sell used.
I have a 331 and found out it is habit forming as to attachments.  I have bought new from my local dealer since he has given me a very good deal during the winter.
I use the 36" bucket a lot for moving material.  When full of gravel reached all the way out - it is a big load.  The narrow 12" is nice to make trenches but problem is that the thumb is wider than the bucket.  Since I got my trencher, the trencher is my favorite.
