Subject: RE: Recommend a new chain saw

We have a pile of MS250 saws and I don't know you could be disappointed with them. Ours have had tons of use. I think we have 13 of them and they are all over 15 years old. They get used alot. I mean a lot. Probably go through 150 gallons of gas a year.

Every one runs identical, carbs and parts are dirt cheap in Amazon, good power to weight/price. But we run 14 and 16 inch chains on a 250. For a bigger bar we run ms460s.

I am not sure what's different about the ms251 as all of ours are older.

When we go through the orchard trimming low limbs etc, we will have up to 10 hired hands running them for weeks at a time. They haven't tore any up yet, and have no issues starting them. Talk about burning some fuel have 10 saws running 8 hours a day.
