Subject: RE: Recommend a new chain saw

North Central OH
Have stihls and an echo around the echo is one of there pro saws. Have echo cs600P (60cc), old stihl 032av(50cc), and a new stihl 500i (80cc) all three of these saws weight about the same. The 500i has way more power and starts easy but wouldn't fall into a lightweight category, think its 13.5lbs or so. Also have a stihl ms250 (45cc) for lighter work, that's a top end home owner saw but has been good for us. Past couple weeks I've mainly been using the 500i with a 20in bar, will cut anything you throw at it, have a 36in but haven't tried it yet. Four pulls and that saw is running first cold start, no choke or throttle lock used.
