3-9 or 4-12 magnification would be fine. Personally I would stay away from vortex. Good scopes but every single one I owned went in for repair and I’m not hard on equipment. Sightron has been who I’ve used for the last few scrips. Hard to find just a regular duplex reticle anymore along with capped turrets
