I'm new to these, so I don't know "new" from "old".
It held pressure for 15 of it's 16 years, apparently.
I ordered the 104-1706 valve and the 104-1729 spring. They should be in on Tuesday afternoon. I'll pop them in and try again.
Your image is correct- that port is the "after filter" port, which would show the fuel pressure being fed through the fuel manifold, into the head, and up to the injectors.
I'm going to move one step at a time, so I'm gonna wait until I have adequate pressure being fed TO the secondary filter, before I change it out for the new one.
And I've been reading the debate about installing the secondary filter "dry" vs. filling it with fuel first. I haven't decided which way I'm gonna go on that yet. | |
