Southern Mn | I dont own one but my number 1 choice right now would be a Wil Rich 483 chisel pro. I like the double disc up front. They don't offer a huge array of leveling attachments, but the 5 bar spike tooth would be my choice.
Im currently running a sunflower 4212 disc chisel and i added some old DMI double disc levelers behind it (it was cheap). Not perfectly level but takes the big valleys out. I also removed the down pressure springs on them and just let them float. Works good for most conditions. I demoed a Krause last fall and it was a heck of a machine, but we couldn't ell a difference from where my sunflower ran to the Krause (side note, last fall was extremly dry, every thing leveled real nice). | |
