nw NC | In November 1970 I was with a group of North Carolina dairy farmers and others on a tour sponsored by DHIA to see California dairy farming. We were in Yosemite National Park just as two climbers were nearing the top of El Capitan. From the valley floor we could see the climbers as tiny specks of color near the top of the sheer face of the mountain. Picture below is a scan of a print from a Kodak Instamatic film camera I made that day.

I learned years later that a childhood school buddy of mine got into rock climbing and he had climbed El Capitan and some other mountains.
I'll climb my silos but I'll say NO to climbing rock cliffs.
